Sceneiverse Launches as Canada's Independent Mobile-First Animation Studio

Founded by Gregory Richardson, Sceneiverse combines traditional animation production expertise with next-generation storytelling.

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - Sceneiverse today announced the launch of its independent entertainment studio and streaming network, dedicated to producing original mobile-first animated series designed for the next generation of audiences.

Founded by Gregory Richardson, a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre (CFC) and an experienced animation production professional, Sceneiverse combines proven production methodologies with modern creative technologies to accelerate the development of creator-owned intellectual property while maintaining strong narrative direction and visual consistency.

Richardson's background includes production management on acclaimed animated series including Pickle and Peanut (Disney XD) and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (Amazon Prime Video), bringing years of traditional animation production experience to the studio's independent production pipeline.

Launching with an expanding slate of original programming, Sceneiverse is focused on serialized short-form storytelling optimized for mobile viewing, featuring interconnected worlds, recurring characters, and scalable production workflows designed for rapid audience engagement.

"Our goal is not simply to make content faster. We're building a sustainable production studio where creator-owned stories can evolve into lasting franchises without sacrificing narrative quality or creative control."

- Gregory Richardson, Founder & Executive Producer

Sceneiverse's production model combines traditional story development with modern production tools to support consistent character performance, episodic continuity, and efficient content creation across multiple original properties. The studio remains committed to retaining ownership of its original intellectual property while pursuing strategic production, technology, and distribution partnerships.

Among the first titles planned for release are original science fiction, comedy, and animated reality-format series developed exclusively for the Sceneiverse platform.

As an independent Canadian studio, Sceneiverse is actively exploring partnerships with broadcasters, streaming platforms, production companies, and technology providers seeking innovative approaches to next-generation animation production.
